Radiographer/Sonographer/Midwife

Obstetric sonographer required to provide maternity ultrasounds on a sessional basis for busy private clinics in Swords, Co. Dublin and Ballincollig, Co. Cork. We offer a supportive working environment, with realistic workloads, and flexible working hours; including daytime, evening and weekends. Remuneration is very competitive and on a per scan basis or €55,000+ per annum or pro rata. Full training in 3D/4D scanning will be provided if required.

 

Job Responsibilities:

​

- Perform  ender scans, and 3D/4D scans
- Perform first trimester early pregnancy scans

- IVF scanning (desirable but not essential)
- Maintain adequate supplies for efficient operation
- Explain procedures to clients
- Inputting of data into computer to maintain record of ultrasound results
- Work in liaison with other team members to ensure first class delivery of care

 

Requirements:

- Must have relevant qualification in obstetric ultrasound (DMU or post-grad qualification in Obs & Gynae)
- Registered with a professional body (CORU/An Bord Altranais)
- Post graduate experience as a radiographer/sonographer
- Customer service abilities including effective listening skills 
- Empathetic and friendly manner
